This specific chart includes some of the most difficult strumming sections to hit within of the timing window of GH3, including "Georgia Theme Lead 1", and the infamous "Verse 2" which both have strumming speeds on average of an extreme 20 NPS (notes per second). Several of the most difficult solo sections include "Victory Solo G", "Victory Solo K", "Victory Solo R", and the most probable choke point, "Verse 4". It contains about 5 minutes of some of the most difficult solos in the game (rivaling the solos from Fury of the Storm), where players have to play both the Devil's part and their own. This song is frequently called The Devil Went Down to "Gergorge" or abbreviated as "TDWDtG" on the popular Guitar Hero website ScoreHero.
This is considered one of hardest songs in the game, considered by some to well surpass the difficulty of "Through the Fire and Flames", although "Through the Fire and Flames" is the hardest song in the game, and the Guitar Hero series as a whole in most player's minds. This song cover for audio-listening use was first released on the Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock Companion Pack soundtrack in 2007 and Steve Ouimette later released his cover on the 2010 Epic album along with his other Guitar Hero song covers. Some consider it to be harder than Through the Fire and Flames (which ironically is the end credits song in-game), or Fury of the Storm and Black Widow of La Porte in Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock. This song can also be downloaded in the Boss Battles Pack in the Xbox LIVE Marketplace and PlayStation Network store, which is free. This song appeared in Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock as a speed metal cover by Steve Ouimette (labeled as "As Made Famously by The Charlie Daniels Band" in game) and was named as " Guitar Battle vs. " The Devil Went Down to Georgia" is a country song by The Charlie Daniels Band. Today, I revised all of them and made them available for Clone Hero with ALL the new features (taps, chord HOPOs, extended sustains). These charts started as my project for Guitar Hero World Tour custom career (GH3 songs ported to GHWT with all the new features). I couldn't find any GH3 charts for Phase Shift (as are available for all the other games in the series), so I thought this would be great time to share with you my work on the GH3 charts over almost 5 years.
It has all the features that I miss in GH3+, so I decided to port songs from GH3 setlist to this game. Hello, so since more people are moving to Clone Hero, I decided to give it a go and I was pleasantly surprised.
